After the team of Academy for Active Youth brainstormed on the topic of how relations between the youth of the two countries can be improved, we came to the inclusion that this can be done only in the European context. From our youth practice, we have realized that the best way to work on an issue is to educate the youth who are the future decision-makers, the future journalists, and the important future stakeholders - on European identity, the importance of media literacy, give ways how to tackle hate speech and to have a healthy point of view on such politized political issues. Educating the future of Europe on non-formal learning practices, on European politics and documents, on the need for empowered youth and their active participation in political and social issues- is needed for a change.
