Social entrepreneurship can have great potential to mobilize youth to engage in efforts to achieve significant social objectives, including employment creation, poverty reduction, inclusion, and integration. Dedicated to serving the common good, social enterprises established by young people can directly contribute to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals. SociallyAgile promotes social entrepreneurship through an innovative approach and is structured for young people to get introduced to business concepts, understand how to implement an innovative idea in the field of social entrepreneurship, be trained and mentored, and, finally, launch their start-up

The project was a 10-day Erasmus+ youth exchange training course held in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, bringing together young people from different European countries around the topic of social entrepreneurship.

Throughout the training, participants developed key competencies needed to become proactive, empowered, and socially responsible young people. Through non-formal education methods, teamwork, simulations, and practical workshops, the exchange strengthened participants’ initiative, leadership skills, critical thinking, and ability to transform ideas into social impact.

A strong focus was placed on encouraging volunteerism and civic engagement. Participants explored how social entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for addressing community challenges, promoting inclusion, and creating positive social change. As a result, young people became more motivated to take active roles in their local communities and engage in volunteer and civic initiatives.

One of the main tangible results of the exchange was the creation of a practical manual titled “How Young People Can Become Social Entrepreneurs”. Developed collaboratively by the participants, the manual includes tools, methods, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance aimed at inspiring and supporting young people who wish to start their own social initiatives or enterprises.

The project also served as a platform to generate innovative ideas, exchange experiences, and build a strong international support network. Participants shared best practices, learned from each other’s cultural perspectives, and established lasting connections that will support future cooperation, youth initiatives, and Erasmus+ projects.

Overall, the youth exchange successfully empowered participants with knowledge, skills, and motivation to act as changemakers, contributing to a more inclusive, engaged, and socially responsible society.

The project's methodology relies on non-formal education throughout all activities, creating a mutual learning environment where participants can share approaches and experiences using diverse non-formal methods. With the methods of non-formal learning, our participants will learn how to develop an entrepreneurial plan in the field, and afterward, they will present their ideas as some of the main results of the project

All participants received a Youthpass certificate, which officially recognizes the learning outcomes acquired during the exchange, including key competences such as initiative, teamwork, communication, and civic engagement. Youthpass serves as a valuable tool for reflecting on learning and enhancing future educational and career opportunities.

We wish great success to all participants in their future projects, initiatives, and personal journeys. May the experiences, friendships, and knowledge gained during this exchange continue to inspire meaningful action in your communities.

If you are a young person eager to learn, grow, and create positive change, we warmly invite you to join our next Erasmus+ youth exchange. Stay connected, follow our activities, and become part of a growing international community of active and socially engaged young people.

The journey continues — be part of it!
