ERASMUS+ KA2 SMALL-SCALE PROJECT
"Youth is our future" - this slogan has never been as relevant as it has been in our time. In times of Extreme Right Movements, opposition between member states, climate crisis, raise of hate speech, intolerance, discrimination and racism, and last but not least-COVID-19 pandemic, there is hope in youth for building a common, civic and green Europe. The main goal of the project is to build a strong and long-term partnership of organizations dealing with the social inclusion of young people from smaller cities (and thus strengthen the potential of our organizations) and encourage young people to invest themselves in their local communities, to participate in non-formal education and spread knowledge about European Union.
The project will also implement the goals of the KA2, including in particular: - use of participatory approaches and digital methodologies (intercultural workshops among young people with fewer opportunities and webinars) - new or improved practices to cater for the needs of targets groups with fewer opportunities and to deal with differences in learning outcomes linked to the geographical and socio-economic disparities - increased competence in foreign languages (study visits, intercultural youth workshops, webinars) - better understanding of interconnections between formal, non-formal education, vocational training, other forms of learning and labor market respectively; (thanks to the cooperation of various institutions - formal and associated partners) - capacity building of partner organizations for international and intersectoral work; Linking goals with selected priorities: - HORIZONTAL: Common values, civic engagement and participation - all activities and results of the project will emphasize the common values we share as Europeans, regardless of the place of residence or material status. We will carry out the activities in accordance with the principle of "nothing about us without us", involving the participation of the interested in the project, ie young people - YOUTH: Promoting active citizenship, young people's sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship - one of the key aspects (alongside ecology and inclusion of people with fewer opportunities) will be civic education and stimulating civic participation among young people. An additional activity aimed at this will be intercultural and civic workshops and paying attention to the promotion of European values) - HORIZONTAL: Inclusion and diversity - project activities are designed to include people with fewer opportunities, in particular young people with geographic (from smaller towns and villages), social, cultural and health problems.
